As part of Juice's Black and White exhibition, a section of the gallery space was altered, expanded and fragmented. Attached to all available surfaces (walls, ceiling and floor), the multilayered, multi-textured structure enabled viewers to understand the space in a new way without radically changing the existing architecture. In keeping with the show's Black and White program, the entire installation was painted white to match the gallery's existing walls. The black was naturally created by the shadows from the structure's layers and reveals.
